Hi

On the form DS-230 line 21A It asks Person(s) named in 14 and 19 who will accompany you to the US now?

Line 14 asks Name of spouse so of course I have to put my name there...right?

So since my name is there do I have to put it on Line 21a as well?

Thank You

Michelle

Line 21a: If anyone (child/children) will accompany your husband, then write down his/her/their name(s) and info. If your husband have no child/children, then the answer is "NONE."

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

HI

I know the answer is none as far as child/children...But 21A says list person(s) listed in 14 and 19....

14... It asks for name of spouse and 19 asks for name of child/children...There is no child/children

but I am listed on 14 so there for I wanted to know if I needed to be listed on line 21A as well...

It simply means, whether your husband will come to USA by himself or with you. The answer will be "NONE," if he comes to USA by himself after he gets the VISA.

Michelle,

The form is used for various conditions and visas, not only spousal.

Question 21a is for those accompanying that will be immigrating. You as his spouse are a USC .....and if he has no children...the answer is 'None'.

Yes, aussiewench is right. Michelle, for your case, the answer is "NONE."

This DS-230 form is being used for not only spouse, but also for parents and siblings. That is why, if a spouse and/or child/children will accompany the beneficiary, then they (state department) want to know their name and info. Since you are a USC and your husband has no children, then answer is "NONE."
