Getting divorced, what documents should I ask my husband for?

My husband has filed for divorce this week and he’s agreed to send me all of the necessary documents that I’ll need to prove a bonafide marriage once I renew my green card. I am currently asking for our official marriage license and everything we had copies of for our petition. What else would be a good idea? It is my one opportunity.

I received my conditional 2 year green card 5 months ago.

I have changed my address - do I need to report our divorce to USCIS as it is processing or once it is official?

thanks!

You do not report anything in the interim to the USCIS.  They will find out about the divorce when you file to try and remove conditions should you choose to do that

Get copies of your whole initial package you sent to USCIS.

Then get copies of everything you can think of that relates to the both of you: marriage certificate, joint property, joint insurance, rental agreements, joint bank accounts/credit cards, evidence for any travels you guys did together, evidence for bookings or bills from your wedding if you had one.
