I-290B Inter Company Transfer Name Was Updated

HI Guys

Sorry if that has been repeated but i did have a look through a few posts.

I have applied for a Inter Company Tansfer Visa. This was denied and has been appealed that is currently going through.

My case status was updated on the 3rd January to :

Name Was Updated

On January 3, 2018, we updated your name for your Form I-290B, Notice of Appeal to the Commissioner, Receipt Number WACXXXXXXX0. 

 

I Know that all the details have been correct all the way through and have done the usual google with a variety of replies. 

Question is quite simple, Has anyone else come across this "Name was Updated" thing or is it worth ringing the Customer services Number?

After many phone calls and emails getting nowhere, this has now been updated to ....

Case Was Reopened For Reconsideration

On January 23, 2018, we reopened your Form I-290B, Notice of Appeal to the Commissioner, Receipt Number WAC180, and are reconsidering our earlier decision. 

 

 

 

 

Any info would be gratefully received.
