Do you treat people online the same as in real life?

I think people can be a lot different on the Internet as they don't have to worry what they say, because they don't really know the people. They also can't see the person so they are more inclined to be hurtful as they won't see the hurt expression on the other persons face. But, I try to be myself in all situations.

This is true. I do believe some have a different persona online than IRL. Personally I don't see why it's necessary. I am who I am...whether online or IRL. Seems like it would be too much to keep up with when you have more than one personality. Contrary to another poster here...I *AM* myself here and IRL. I have no need to be different.

I pretty much am the same IRL as I am on here. I have my "nippy" moments too but as a whole I don't like confrontation especially over things that I don't think are worth getting uptight about. I do get wound up over some things IRL. Lucky for me, my husband is a very good listener. He once commented that he's glad my boss is such a fukc up because he (the boss) gets me so upset often that I don't have time to be upset over hubby's "mistakes".

I'll answer for myself since it's my experience I don't have much in common with the MENA crowd. I don't know people like this in real life, so I haven't had the opportunity to interact with people like this, therefore, I can't say 100% I'd act exactly the same, although it's probably a safe bet I would.
