Husbands interview/ No financial support yet

Hi.

 

     My husband's interview is next week. Yet, lawyer associate barely notified us that we need a financial supporter, since, I didn't make enough on my taxes.

 

     Will he be denied??

If you do not meet the financial requirements for sponsorship, they generally should ask you to provide a co-sponsor, so you still have time to find one and do paperwork and have it ready to send in.

 

Will they flat out deny him? No I doubt that, they will request you to provide a co-sponsor.

Most of my family do not meet the $24,000 + on their taxes. And one family member that does doesn't have a birth certificate ans was born in Oakland, CA.

He won't be denied but they will hold up the case until you get a co-sponsor

Guys, 

 

     So, he won't be able to cross into USA, If, he is approved? We was hoping that IF he gets approved, we were going to wait in Juarez for his visa.... If.

Or, should I make my rambling shorter and ask, What does "hold up the case" mean?

by hold up they mean they wont approve or deny him until you find a sponsor

In essence, they’ll issue a 221g to provide a qualified joint sponsor. They’ll hold a case at the embassy for up to a year before they send it back. 

 

Look into getting a second job to get you to sponsor?
