That out of the way, a country's main responsibility is to its citizens. Immigration's purpose was, and still is, to help the country and help their people. We should, as the draft for Comprehensive Immigration Reform outlined, get rid of the F4 category and limit F3 to 31 years or younger. That's not racist, but a means of survival.

 

Thus, a skilled person from an African, Asian, or South American country can immigrate to the US as easily as the proverbial Norwegian, but their grown children, fiance, and siblings should not. To the point, if I had a say in this, I would also put a limit on the amount of petitions an American can file, ending the practice of chain immigration.

 

   Why on earth would the president make such an assumption? Especially one who claims to be stable and a genius. This is not classified information and 60% of the population doesn't like the guy. Chances are it 's going to get out. Beyond that why even use that kind of language. There is no possible good that can come out of this behavior, and no benefit to anyone. Possibly it could have negative consequences if we ever need the cooperation of those countries.

 

   You said it best in your first statement, that is Trump being Trump. That is the pathological persona. When you burn everything in your path to the ground, eventually you have no where left to go. It's malignant. We know how it will end.

As you pointed out Republicans are stuck with a base that thinks denegrating other nations, cultures, religions with derogatory labels is ok or even virtous. Let's see how that view of the world plays out in the midterms. I am banking that Trump's ignorant statements will be one catalyst to get young people to the poll.

What is good for the president of the United States to use should be good for the rest of us. Whether or not you are a fan of the mod action, the action taken was to remove a word not allowed under the TOS.  I am actually surprised it remained in place as long as it did.  One must follow the rules here or face deportation from the thread.
