in my mind and in my words, i did not. and i'm not going to go back and forth on your perception of my comment. report my post or move on.

No need to report your post.  It’s obvious you find it excusable, or at least justifiable, that a group of blacks beat up a white person, given all they had to go thru years ago.  Your feelings are your own, and I don’t find them offensive.  Misguided perhaps, but not really a huge issue.

Seens like I remember saying on this very board, it's ok to attack people they deem racist

I got that, but it's understandable why Norwegians do not emigrate. Their salaries are very high and the Government can afford to provide a generous welfare state (for now).

And no, they do not have lunatics wanting to stop offshore drilling there.

if it's obvious, you can say where i said it's excusable or justifiable. you can't. because i said no such thing. i suggest you drop it.  it would be a very huge issue to me if someone said violence was justifiable towards an innocent person.

But there’s a big difference between those who WANT to immigrate here, and those who actually DO.

https://www.migrationpolicy.org/programs/data-hub/charts/largest-immigrant-groups-over-time

And then there are the countries with the most illegals here in the US:

Those who want, but don't for what ever reason aren't a problem for America.

The list is almost identical to the 7 countries article I posted.

Yes, their salaries are high, but so are their taxes.  And the one person I know who left there has no desire to go back because he can work half the amount of time here and make more money.  Quality of Life is not defined equally by all.

and also like the article said, many from mexico and the phillippines want to move here because they already have a network of friends and family living here.

Lol, yeah I don't get it either. If I was Norwegian I would apply right away for a green card and leave all those  benefits.

Yup, I looked it up because I hear alot about chain migration, and was curious if there is some research done.

I think ALL countries with a Hispanic background can be considered chain immigrants.  Family is very important to them, and they would be more likely to petition family members left behind.  Lots of my wife’s extended family (i.e. cousins) have done just this.  But for some reason, my wife has expressed no desire to do so herself.

That's true, salaries are lower... at least in the Netherlands. BUT: cost of living is also much lower, and they don't make insane hours. A full-time job is 34-40 hours a week. Employers are much better protected. I'm honestly shocked sometimes by what employers expect from their employees here, and that you can get fired instantly.
