NVC giving trouble about Marriage Certificate

Hey guys so I’m at the NVC stage for my CR 1 visa. And I just revived an email from NVC stating that the marriage certificate that you sent in does not meet the requirement. I mean I’m from Pakistan and I sent in both the Urdu and English nikkah namah along with the NADRA marriage certificate and that’s all that you need for marriages in pakistan. I have no idea why’d they send me that email. Can somebody please help me out about what I should do?

If you sent urdu nikha nama with translation and Nadra Certificate... then that should be all. Call them and ask exactly what doc is missing. If required email copy of missing doc otherwise they might be able to find doc they were unable to find at first place.

They didn’t say the document was missing but said that the document you submitted doesn’t meet the requirement! I have no idea what they want since I sent in everything that was required both Urdu English and then the NADRA certificate. Has anyone experienced anything similar from NVC?

I know my documents are in the review process right now and I also sent what you sent. I will let you know if I have any issues with it or not.

They took almost 8 weeks to review the documents only to let me know that the document doesn’t meet the requirement it’s so frustrating. How long has it been since you sent your documents?

I sent Urdu & English Nikka namma ... + Nadra Certificate

I did not sent the translation.. when we got married we had the molvi also make a original english Nikka namma for us

That’s exactly what I sent them not a translation but an original one I don’t know why they’re still having an issue with it!!!

did you call them ? get them on the phone
