it won't affect your application as long as you are totally honest during both interviews.

However, you will probably be denied because you have already a clear intent to inmigrate, and visitors Visas are the opposite.

And even if you get it, you will still need to go through POE and deal with CBP.

Some people are able to travel to the US while they have a i-130 pending application, but it depends of how strong are the ties of that person to their home country

I was trying to get B2 visa as I am in the same same situation. So they denied due to I am in the process to and have to wait my CR1 visa approval. It is so unfair to be honest , I think they have to make some exception for a spouses as it is not  normal family life when you are separated and keep dreaming about each other like every second. When you are talking on Skype 24 hours every day even while driving but still cant touch your soulmate.

You have immigrant intent.  I have only ONCE have seen a B2 visa granted to someone with an I-130 pending since I started on this forum.  Granted I do not browse every thread or every inch of the forum, but it was a Russian who was granted the B2.

Yeah, you are right. But the time I applied I was living in Dubai (I am Ukrainian originally), had a good job and great income, also my husband (he works for government in USA ) brought tons of  documents and proved  that we do not have a problem in future with our petition, I just want to visit USA for a Christmas and go back to Dubai. So..they even have not take a look on  my documents(( Just said - :"Hopefully you will get approved you CR1 visa by December" (I applied in October). Apparently it is really rare to get B2 while you are in the process for a spouse's visa.
