Report Of Marriage To Philippine Consulate

I sent the Report of Marriage in on January 18, 2018.

 

I live in Michigan so I sent it to this address:

122 S. Michigan Ave. Suite 1600
Chicago, IL 60603

 

That was the only address I could find so I do hope it was the correct address.

 

I received a notice from USPS that the info I sent was received.

 

I also included a self addressed stamped envelope so they could return the originals.

 

I checked the tracking number of the self addressed stamped envelope and still it has no info yet. It just says label was created.

 

1) Did I send this to the correct address?

2) How long does it take for this to be done?

1. That is the correct address for the Philippine Consulate in Chicago per the Consulate's website.

 

2. Expect about 2-4 weeks on average. Just expect it to take that long and if it comes soon then yippee. My asawa's took about 4 weeks for us to get it back due to issues with her provincial birth certificate.

I thought their website said it takes 5 business days but 2 to 4 weeks...YIKES!!!

Yeah remember this is the Philippines you are dealing with so expect to take a longer amount of time. But if it gets to you quick then good for you.

While I was looking around I also saw where there was a honorary consulate in Michigan as well. So you might want to contact them next time to see what all they can or can't do before dealing with Chicago.
