K2 Visa crossing after K1

Hey! So long story short.    I had my K1&K2 interview yesterday. When before the interview I had asked people that could schedule the interview if I Needed to bring my son (the K2 applicant) with me.  They had said it was fine as long as I brought along all of his documents.   Now fast forward to the interview! I was approved! BUT they did not approve the K2 as the only need to have him in the presence of an officer and have his guardian swear an oath on his behalf.  They also gave me a document clarifying this (after the misinformation on the phone I don’t do much with out a document proving what was said) So there is a very good chance I may cross the boarder first and have my son follow.

What documentation would another adult need to be able to take my Son with his K2 visa across the boarder as I am his only legal guardian and I can not cross back to Canada to retreive him.
