Case is Ready For Interview

Hello.  So this morning, I did my daily check on my wife's 3 USCIS receipt numbers for AOS, EAD, and AP.  Well, today the AOS receipt number had an update.  It USED to say: "Fingerprint Fee Received".  Now it says:  "Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview".

 

This brings up two questions for me:

1. Does this mean I will not receive any RFE's on our case?  I've passed that check and I can assume all our paperwork checked out?

2. It says they will schedule an interview and send us the notice.  How long, on average, have others here waited in between the website notice to actually receiving a notice in the mail?

 

I know the second question is highly dependent on the local USCIS office and it's back log.  I live in Cleveland, OH and historically the process is pretty quick here from what I have seen on the timelines.  But just wanted to know how long people usually waited to get the notice after the website said they will schedule and send one.

Today our status updated again to "Interview is Scheduled".  It is scheduled for Valentines Day, February 14th.  That was much faster than I expected.

I think this goes to show interview times are directly tied to your local USCIS office conducting the interview and application after the Chicago lockbox does it's preliminary processing.  Cleveland, OH where we live has an exceptionally fast turn around time of 108 days on average from File Date to Interview.  Where as where your local office, St. Paul, MN, has an average time of 390 days.

 

I guess lucky for us we live in a city that doesn't process an exceptionally large volume of green card applicants.
