I just hope that even for I-485 they don't put us (F2A categories) behind K1 like they did for EAD/AP. That would be tragic.

I don't think they share the same view with you. I think they feel they are doing us a favor, even if they are paid by us. Did you get any mail about your SRs?

Not yet, I had an infopass and she said it takes a few months to resend it. This is ridiculous. But, I had the temporary gc stamp because I have a trip next month.

That's good.. But just in case if you still have your EAD card, take it with you so when coming back they don't give you a hard time. Also take the welcome letter and approval page just in case.

The officer just went through the yes/no questions plus few questions about the relationship, and current visa status and said case is approved :) that was about it :)

10/24/17: NOA received. Priority date: 10/23/17

Hi friend, did you receive your GC? its been a week since we were approved, but it hasn't shown up

My case status changed to "case reopened for reconsideration".

USCIS is saying that they ran out of visa numbers for me and I have to wait till new visa numbers are available.
