they didn't ask for a ground for expedite? like a job offer or an emergency?

out of normal processing time is also grounds for expedite request. If the application is within normal processing times, then expedite request requires ground like a job offer or emergency

Spoke to L2 since no response received. She said that the wait times are going to get even longer.

Also she sent an email to her supervisor to help in my case in the next 24 to 48 hours.

USCIS is simply sitting on our cases for sure ! I am so frustrated, I think I made a mistake applying for AOS. Should have gone for Consular processing in the first place.

I got a response about my I-485 from my congressman today. Here is the email

Good morning.

I have pasted, in red, the response I received from USCIS.   Please let me know if you need anything further.

Good Morning Lisa,

Re:

Thank you for your inquiry regarding this constituent’s immigration matter.  We have requested the file and it will be reviewed by an officer once we receive the file.  Your constituent should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this notice.

I heard cases that belong to people who early filed (didn't have their PD current at time of filing) are sitting on the shelf with no body looking at them. Although it became current during the pending time, it doesn't matter. This is what I heard last.

I did not file early. But I don’t think this is true

how do you explain that you only got after your PD became current?

I just came back from infopass, and he called NBC, they told we only start looking at EAD/AP only after priority date becomes current.

My PD has been current since 6 months ago. I believe my congressman has speeded up my case

that is Bullshit !.. Actually we should be getting green cards when the priority date becomes current ! Instead we are past our current priority Dates and still no EAD/AP card.

I think we all should file a grievance law suit against USCIS in this case. This is injustice. People outside USA in the same F2A category with Priority Dates as far off as june are getting their interview appointments at Consular posts.. What did we do wrong..
