They ask for a lot of personal information including SSN #. Is it OK to give them that?

I just hope that even for I-485 they don't put us (F2A categories) behind K1 like they did for EAD/AP. That would be tragic.

I don't think they share the same view with you. I think they feel they are doing us a favor, even if they are paid by us. Did you get any mail about your SRs?

Congressman and senators do need you to fill out a privacy release form so they can contact USCIS on your behalf. I didn’t have a ssn, so I did not give them that.

Don't understand what is USCIS doing.. Why cant they approve our cases?

So I contacted and filled out privacy release forms for both Congressman and Senator on my case. Congressman's office sent out a congressional inquiry on my case. Lets hope that things move finally.

it wont' believe me. Mine has been pending response for 3 weeks so far. Congressman said they may take up to 6 weeks just to freaking reply to their request.

Does it matter if the congressman is also from Republican Party?

Spoke to L2 and she was very rude. She did not explain why there is a delay and told me that this is a benefit and not an entitlement. LOL

I wish I had gone for Consular processing when my attorney got the request back in June 2017. I would have had the immigrant Visa by now by travelling to home country and going to the consulate. my PD is March 9 2016 and its been more than 25 months now..
