Will they sort the cases by PD or by date of filing, or maybe by Both?

Filing the earliest will make your case on the top of the pile with similar PDs, but it is up to USCIS when to start reviewing this pile. Is it right?

I don't think they sort the cases at all. If they did sort, then why is it that DEC 2017 filers are getting EADs and August Sep and Oct 2017 filers are still pending.

There is no logic or reason to the inner workings of USCIS. So it is best to be clueless and wait patiently.

Earliest Filing was not allowed until Oct 1 2017 for most cases. The filing date was limited to PD of 22 Nov 2015 until Oct 1 2017.

Update: I went for infopass yesterday. The officer said don't keep high hopes, you might get your GC in 2-3 months and your EAD is not approved yet. All my travel plans got screwed, this is really really frustrating.

2-3 months LOL ! I bet no one is getting any green cards until 18 months from the receipt date.. Honestly I will be happy to get my EAD in next 2-3 months !

Quick update;

- No response yet to any of my 5 SRs

- No response yet from Congressman

- No response yet from Senator

- No response from Ombudsman

- No response yet on my Expedite request

Scheduled travel is Saturday, after two days, and I will most likely lose the money I paid for the tickets.

My SR from Dec 2017 was not assigned to the officer and now it shows completed.. How is that possible?

Buy any reason insurance and see if you can get most of the costs back

My I-131 (advance parole) was approved on March 28th and the card was produced and mailed on March 30th. I did not file it together with my I-485. I filed it on January 28th

Wow man, that is really fast. Did any of your SRs get answered? Have been waiting since October and nothing. Yesterday one SR got completed saying we sent you a response.

I did not raise any SR for this I-131 because it is still in normal processing time. I guess yours took so long because you filed together with I-765. I hope you get it soon
