you mean people in general are waiting since July or specifically ones who are in F2A category and applying to NBC?

I am reading on other forums that people who applied in July still have not received their EAD cards. Haven't asked them if they are F2A NBC or not.

I would always expect that some people take much longer than others in any category. However, for us, "F2A @ NBC", all of us seem to be taking a long time, that is why I'm not liking it.

Dude don't you have a valid non immigrant visa stamped?

if not then get a non immigrant visa stamped. Green Card will not come that quick even after the EAD/AP cards.

I suggest you maintain the valid non immigrant status till you get Green Card in your hand.

USCIS sucks !!!!:ranting:

I spoke with L1 and he wont take another SR because the last one was answered on March 19 (That SR was filled on Feb 14). told me to wait another 30 days (April 19) before I can put another SR.

Republicans will never get a single immigrant vote this way. They are playing with lives of law abiding, tax paying educated immigrants (Ideal minorities).

Even December filers have started getting EAD/AP cards in K1 visa categories

I doubt they care, and even if they do, they wont fix it in a month

I think you are right. I feel sorry. Hope you had travel insurance. I know exactly how it feels.

I am on H1B visa until may 2019. The stamp on my passport expired in Dec 2016 and in Dec 2017 I was going to take a trip to India to meet my family after 2 years. I checked in at the airport and the flight got cancelled. Since my connecting flight was on time, I lost the original planned journey. I had a finger printing appointment in New Delhi US Embassy on the day I was going to land. I had to cancel the whole trip because of this. The next available visa appointment was in Jan 2018. Even lost the money since I had purchased non refundable tickets on my international leg of the journey.
