Did USCIS Contact your employers or references?

With the political climate now, everyone seems to be freaking out about offering a letter, whether it be a reference or a job or whatever. Did USCIS ever contact anyone's references or employers that they submitted for an O1?

It's not a concern per se. More of I would just like to make my signees aware if they'll be contacted or not. I feel like everyone's super on edge with the current political climate.

The current political climate affects those who play hard and fast with the rules, not necessarily those playing by the rules.

They might contact them. I read an article on H1Bs that said that USCIS is doing more background checks, so they could be doing the same with O1, particularly when O1 allows you to avoid PERM. For GC they do contact people so I don't know why they would not do the same for O1.
