Did any one here do a civil marriage with foreigner? Can you provide blank copies of all the documents that were needed? Thanks in advance.

More commonly known in US as court house marriage

Oh gotcha. Courthouse wedding procedures are different with each state. Usually you just show up at the courthouse with IDs and sign up for a marriage license and schedule the courthouse wedding. That’s all it takes.

Yes it all depends on the courthouse too! 

In Illinois (downtown) it was first come first serve. You had to get a marriage license at least 24 hours prior to getting married and had to bring in your birth certificate your visa, passport etc to get your marriage license and pay a fee.

Some court houses are by appointment only. I would research your current city online. Other than that it's pretty easy/quick! 

We didn't fill in any forms they did it on the computer when we went to get our license and after we got married we picked up our marriage certificate because it's faster so that we could start processing aos and ead..

Most people I know in the USA get married by a friend or relative.

 

Go online to some online church life Universal Life Church and sign up and get ordained as a minister.

 

Then perform the marriage and officiate it

Almost that simple.  After getting ordained you must register with the state as an officiant, pay the fee and then off to the races

Texas don't require nothing.  My mother married like 6 people .

 

My nephew got ordained at ULC 15 years ago, he can go see people in jail when it's not general public visiting hours, only lawyers and clergy time.

I understand the process in the US. Sorry, im asking specifically about the process in the Philippines. Im planning to do a "civil marriage" soon, and do the ceremony later in the year. That way by the time we do the "ceremony" all the paperwork wll be approved and we can return to the US together.
