OP - I see some others have already directed you to the November NOA2 thread, which is about those who received NOA2 around the same time you did and are currently awaiting NVC. Based on my understanding of the current drag in processing, and your NOA2 date, I wouldn't get too nervous just yet. It's slowed down quite a bit for the NVC part, for some reason. We received our NOA2 on December 1 and I told myself I'm giving it until the beginning of February before I start making some calls and being a bit noisy about it. You can find a lot of helpful info on the thread the others have posted before me.

And don't apologize for asking questions - this forum site is HUGE and it can be very difficult to find what you are looking for, or figure out where you need to be. The first time I came here and posted, I posted a random new post just like you did, asking all my questions, and had some people come in and help direct me to where I need to be. It's normal. Some are just super frustrated (well, we all are), more than usual, because of the way things have bogged down so much. It ain't personal, and there are TONS of people here who will be super helpful throughout your journey. :)

Best of luck to you! We are in the same NVC boat right now! :)

Thank you paul.

Good luck ,and i hope the best fir you too captain ☺

To answer your question, you should get a response from the NVC in about 7 days.  That's how long the response time was for me when I emailed them on December 26th.

Hi websters 202

Ok thank you ☺

taking a lot longer than use to becasue of several things

for one we just had 3 major holidays and in a lot of offices people are told "take your built up vacation time or loose it when January comes

the next is the number of applicaitons now going thru the system

6 million a year

best thing you can do now is learn what is needed to pass this interview

big age difference will halt the process

reliigion differences will be an issue if you have them / be prepared with good answers

can the woman have children / big issue in Casa

ask financee questions about self,   family and her life in the US

everthing big and small / if they ask what is her favorite color ,  be prepared to tell the CO

if they ask stupid like what did she eat for breakfast,  they expect you to say she is  not out of bed yet as casa is 6 hours ahead

know that casa approved less than 250 K1 in 2017 out of the over 32000 approved for all countries

this is a hard embassy so hope u prepare well and are one of the lucky ones to be approved

incha allah

if not, be prepared to marry and do the CR1 like so many of us had to

hi adil.

please can you explain to me more about big difference age , she is 7 years older than me , and she have kids and we don't have same religion i'm muslim and she is catholique for me no problem in all of that , and please can you give me more about what's kind of docoment i need before interviw.

Good luck incha allah ☺

Thank you andy.

7 years is not too much / we have a bigger age difference

documents you need will come in intructions from immigration

there are 2 criminal investigations but do not do these until told as 1 is only good for 90 days

you will need a medical exam and instructions from immigration will give u a list of doctors to choose from

your financee should have sent all the needed documents but they can say "bring an original of any they choose example is birth certificate"

most important to be confident when you go into interview

to answer the questions quickly and honestly

do not elaborate (meanes do not go into long explanation of your answers)

embassy takes very seriously so do not smile

what they want to see is serious and loving relationship so do not be a moroccan,  tell them you love and care about this woman

Congrats. The next step is to track the case to the consulate using the new case number. Your fiance can check on the status of the case here: https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

Once the case is listed as 'Ready' at the Casablanca consulate, you should start emailing the consulate asking for an interview date. Do not wait for them to contact you.

Once the case is listed as 'Ready' on the CEAC tracker, you can start to email them about the interview. I wouldn't email them before the CEAC status changes, as they won't have the case and so they won't be able to do anything.
