Hi,

Can anyone put my mind at ease? I emailed the Knightsbridge doctors to find out that my medical was “completed” and delivered to the embassy ahead of my interview.

From peoples experience, does this mean the medical has been passed? Or just that it’s with the embassy for them to assess? The email was kinda vague.

I have no issues that I am aware of (I assume the doctor would have flagged it before sending) and wondered if at the interview they ask medical related questions or if they just see that it’s passed and that’s it?

Thanks.

Knightsbridge do not really 'pass' a medical, they just send the results to the embassy. If you have no issues you should be fine.

However I would recommend calling the embassy to make sure they have received your medical results ahead of your interview.

t means it is there for assessment.. one would magine that, if there were issues that needed to be addresed, they would have told you at the interview, but, the medical is a closed book to us.. we never see it.. and so never really know what is in it...

I haven’t had the interview yet? Do you mean if there were issues to be addressed they would have told me at the medical?

Thanks for this. Probably just pre interview nerves. I just wondered from people’s experience if the medical is talked about at the embassy. As in, if they say “oh you had this previously according to your notes...” or if because Knightsbridge have passed it over the embassy don’t ask medical questions.

nothing said at all.. I would imagine the only time something is raised is if there is an issue which makes you ineligible medically... CO take the advise of the medical report and read that in conjunction with the rules of the visa processing.. no medical  Drs at the Consulate as far as I know

Thank you. As I say, to my knowledge I am ok medically but I wondered how the process worked and it’s hard to find things on Google. 🙂
