Need help for Visit visa B1B2 to US

Hello all,

I am working in Dubai with a average salary in a business company. My brother and aunty is living in US but i want to visit US. As im Pakistani so do i have to apply from their or from Dubai? And any other advice for me in this?

You can apply in Dubai. Keep in mind that you must inform that you have your brother and aunt in the US. Don't try to hide it. As a Pakistani, it may be hard for you to get a visa.

How much bank balance i have to show? For how long its supposed to be in my account? Is it ok if i show dat balance in my pakistani bank account?

what will negatively impact you is presumably you are living in Dubai alone with no other family and you are a young male

working outside of your home country is not a negative compared to the above

if you want to apply for a visa just apply, no one on this forum can say with certainty if you will or will not get a visa, if you can afford the time to fill out the paperwork and a day for interview plus $160 you have nothing to loose by applying

If they ask for bank statements at all it would be done at the interview, they may or very likely may not ask for them

no one on this forum can tell you a magic number you would need in your account

also it is highly likely the officer would not ask to see your bank information

Depends what you do, for example a big difference if it’s a blue collar job that makes you easily mobile and not attractive to go back to, or if a it’s a high level professional job at a well paying company that you wouldn’t want to leave 

It’s usual to apply for a visa in the country you currently live in, some people live halfway across the world from their home country, why would they go back just for a tourist visa interview?

Fill out the DS-160 and schedule the interview. Then hope for the best. The only way to know is to try.

Possibly. It depends on your ties to Dubai (as they can't really establish your ties to your home country easily). But applying in an embassy other than where you currently live is probably more likely to result in a refusal (what ties do you have to return there since you don't even live there now?).

Nobody can say for sure. Just something reasonable to show that you can afford the entire trip without hardship (i.e. they would assume somebody would come to the US for only a couple weeks - without working - at the cost of blowing their entire savings).

Long enough to show that it's really your money to do what you want with it, and you're not just holding it to increase your chances of getting a visa. The longer, the better.

Yes, any bank account is fine.

 

That said, they usually only look at supporting evidence (like bank statements) in borderline cases. So be ready to show ties, but expect that they already have all the info they need on the DS-160 and will make a decision based on that and/or interview questions.

I have white collar job and the company is very huge. But my job is not that of high level, im a warehouse admin havi g stock and staff responsibility overall. How can i show ny ties to Dubai? I dbt own a car or house here.

My visa is of Assistant storekeeper but dua to my Good performance and education now im working as a admi (department secretary). I have employment visa with a big company.

You have a choice to apply in dubai or islamabad. 

Straightforward process.. Fill out the ds160, mention your brother and why you wish to visit the US; visa officer at the interview decides the rest.
