Also the problem is the USC does not know he/she is being scammed and usually fights for the foreigner and sends as much paperwork in to the CO where they evemutually just approve it. Only to have that USC cry a few months later when the foreigner leaves them high and dry

The person could come to the US and rent a room in a cheap hotel,  then interview spousal applicants for a reasonable fee , say $60 for a straight 30 minute session ,  extra if the sessions require more work .....

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

First you can check if your fiancee is not submissive, into drugs, trouble maker or dictator before she petitions for you. My husband knew all that about me even before he met me in person.

Second if you doubt, then tell her she should not petition for you . Marry someone you trust and believe 100%, it is not worth to take the risk of leaving your high paying job at all. Thinking about the second option even before you get married is scary to me.

Yes you can marry someone else, but you should go back to your country and do CR1 process and you sure will have a hard time to prove your marriage is genuine , and there is still possibility the second person will not be submissive, be into drugs or trouble maker or dictator since you can't know a person in less than 90 days. Will you risk it again and again until you find a USC who meets your standards?

If this is the common attitude, USC's should be very careful.

Marriage is not a visa issue.

I know right! Because this topic and many others make me feel this can be a common attitude

USC puts her all heart, energy and money in a relationship and the other partner makes excuses like "she is not submissive" and leaves

I am not a USC and these topics still make me very nervous

The K1 visa doesn’t keep you from marrying someone else, but if you do marry someone other than the original petitioner for the K1, then the only path to become an LPR is to leave the US and have the Now spouse file for a spousal visa.

Read everything about K1 before applying for K1. If you do not marry your petitioner in 90 days after entering the US, you need to leave. They can deport you. You are forever bound to that person until you remove conditions. If you have someone else, you need to start all over again. Read the fine lines.

If theres a complication while arriving at the united state and both party couldnt make it or one party decided to Quite, his he allowed to marry someone else b4 the completion of the 1st 3months.

If u are not going to marry,  its easy pack ur things and go home.

I guess the easy answer is that you CAN marry anyone you want but if it is not the original petitioner, the visa will eventually expire and the beneficiary will have to leave the country, married or not.

Do not mention VAWA.  No need to feed their deceit.

I think that is Capital letter NO to visa fraud, for someone who want to embark on a life time journey who is leaving thier well paid job to settle down in marriage needs to be extra ordinary carefull, while carrying out a risk assessment u think about possibilities and severities, if probably *shes*  for instance is a woman who is not submissive, into drugs, fornication, trouble maker, dictator etc..and all this cant be detected during the distance relationship.. will U proceed with such marriage??.. if the spouse already resign his high paid job and have nothing to go back home for. If the spouse had someone in mind b4 why is she not the petitioner in the first place...  We all need to be positive about our reasonable and comment on net...i dont think considering both positive and negative of a step is bad.

This is bad... US citizens can be investigated before marriage. It’s a good idea to do this.. 3 months to go from one relationship to another? Sounds like fraud
