Green card 10 year renewal

Anyone have trouble with their green card?  Specifically, ever had their green card renewed and have the wrong name on it or maiden name used after expiring green card had married name on it? If so, how long did it take for USCIS to correct the mistake? Its happened to us. After waiting five months to get the new green card only to find that it has her maiden name on it USCIS tells us it's like starting the renewal process from scratch. Only saving grace is that they told us they will be able to reuse her biometric information we've already paid for. Wife seems to believe that the process will be expedited if we hire an attorney. What do you think?

I had wrong name in my first green card due to their error but they rejected ecpedite request. I will suggest u to just send expedite request online. Its just online simple  form, lawyer will not add any value he/she will also fill that simple online form.

- Received COA 14th May 2015


- Received Visa and reached to US in Feb 2016
