N-400 After Interview Online Status

Hi I did my naturalization interview yesterday on Jan 8, 2018. Everything went fine and the letter I got stated I was recommended for approval.

However, when I checked my case status in mu ELIS account, the status worries me a little.

This is what I see. The current status is on the top. Which means after they updated my status to "We approved your application", they changed it to "You attended your interview".

Doesn't this mean I'm not approved yet and they recanted the previous update? Or is it normal?

I also checked my case via USCIS Case Status page, and this is what I get.

I searched on VisaJourney and seems some people got this too...

I'm so confused.. I thought I was approved.

Am I worrying too much or should I expect an RFE? I have a trip coming up in late April, so a bit anxious to finish this and get my US passport....

Thank you.

PS. I applied based on 3 years of marriage to US spouse. We've been married for 4 years, I've been a PR for 3 years and 5 months.

Sometimes the officer doesn't have authority to approve it without a supervisor, etc. You're not quite approved just yet, since the person that checks the paperwork might find a reason for a RFE.

I wouldn't stress, though. This seems to be a typical step.

Unless there is something particular about your case (e.g. undisclosed criminal record, etc), this is a good sign. It'll just be reviewed by another officer (most likely a supervisor) and it'll go through.

Ok thanks. I feel better now as I believe my case is very... normal and boring lol. I hope I see further updates soon. I thought I'd feel relieved after my interview, but now I don't think I'll feel 100% done until I attend my oath ceremony...
