I thought the story said it was unclear if the board asked for the teacher to be cuffed?  Also, the video mentioned that the Public Comments portion of the meeting is not a Q & A session so that seems a bit of a stretch.

she was asked to leave the meeting, it was unclear if the board asked for her to be cuffed. the video mentioned that and it was made quite clear in the article. not sure what you're getting at.

Exactly, her being asked to leave the meeting and her being cuffed may have been due to different actions.  She was asked to leave the meeting because she kept trying to ask questions during the public comments portion of the meeting, and she appeared to be complying.  Then off camera, something happens and she is being cuffed.  We do not know why, but to jump to the conclusion she was cuffed for simply asking the board questions seems to be a bit of a stretch.

i think it's a stretch to assume she's a racist and assaulted a deputy in order to get cuffed. but you and i don't normally see eye to eye so i'm not surprised.

I was being absurd.  My point was that we do not know why she was cuffed.  The headline, the story, and the video make it seem like it was simply for asking questions.  They don’t know either.

Can't view the video.  Wondering, however, whether discussion of the superintendent's contract was the sole agenda item, in which case the teacher indeed might have been out of order to raise other matters (teachers' salaries) during a "public comment" session.

I was demonstrating that without knowing why she was cuffed, anyone can make their own conclusion.  I for one would like a follow up to see what triggered the final outcome.

I watched it. From what I saw, it was a big over reaction. That having been said, we saw very little of what actually happened , once she left the room. I do wonder if the cop targeted her because she was white
