If that was my post, and I said it, then why is my name not attached to it?  Not sure what you are trying to do here, but I am pretty sure is against to misquote or modify another member’s posts.  I never said what you are accusing me of.  All I did was post a link to a video.

I did not say"you said it", I said it's "in your post". Your post includes not just a link to a video, but also the well known twitter post by Paul Joseph Watson that uses the phrase "old white people".

Either way, she said "old people need to die" and she was clearly referring to old white people when she said it.

First and foremost she was talking about old racists; a generation born and bred in prejudice. The actual quote is in my link. She didn't say old people need to die. She didn't say white people.

So sure, old racists could take offense to her assertion. That would include old white racists, I suppose. I'm not sure why old people or white people in general would perceive those comments to be targeting them.

seriously, why would anyone but racists take offense to such an assertion. like if oprah hadn't stated the obvious that old people just might live forever. each generation has ideals that fade as they do. it's really not anything to get upset about.

You are completely wrong and also fabricating part of her quote.  She did not say "old racists" - that part is nowhere in the quotes of her interview.

She said, "I said this for apartheid South Africa, I said this for my own community in the South - there are still generations of people, older people, who were born and bred and marinated in it, in that prejudice and racism, and they just have to die."

Who is she talking about?  Immediately after referencing apartheid in South Africa, which was white people vs black people, she mentions "generations" of old people and says they just have to die.  Everyone knows.  Even Snopes knows.  You know too.

So you are implying that anyone taking offense to what she said is a racist?  Nice!

I think only racists can be offended by racist remarks?

Often it gets very confusing. M in MDL

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

It's not a hard concept, but some seem to want to make it one. Some things never change.

In my neck of the woods there are also a lot of young and old racists of both colors.

I don't think it's ok to wish for people to die, and shame on anyone thinking that is ok. However the right  inmho is twisting meaning, just like the left did on trying to say Trump  backed the Klan.

Its all two scoops of Ice cream political theater to me.

In my eyes what she meant was that in order to be real change it's going to take time, and that means the older generations will give way to the new. Her choice of words were very poor, but not lets not do the same thing the MDL does to Trump on a daily basis.

It wasn't a question, because you ended the sentence with a period not a question mark.  You were making a statement, disguised as a rhetorical question, that anyone questioning what she said is a racist.  You know exactly what you were doing and now you are trying to cover yourself.

Yes simple enough. However there is a lot of racism still alive in the younger generations. Both black and white.
