How long to withdraw our K1?

Me and my husband need to withdraw our K1. Short story, were going to get married in the USA, but got married in the UK for family reasons and now we need to file a CR1 instead.

 

How long does the government take to withdraw this and send us a letter to confirm the withdrawal? I think it should be very quick as they haven't barely done anything with the application yet.

in my experience it can take quite a while to get written confirmation that your petition has been withdrawn

just mail in a letter with all the pertinent information to the service center handling your petition and call and file a service request documenting the request

when you submit for the cr1 Include the details of your withdrawn petition-so you mailed a letter and called to cancel

Congratulations!  The funny thing is that you may still beat us all to POE.  On the FB CR-1 page a couple who submitted on September 18 got their NOA2 on December 22.  3 months for NOA2 with a CR-1.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

 

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

 

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Right now, quicker and much cheaper.

Port Of Entry.  That is the beneficiary arriving in the states.

                                                                                                                                     05/9/19   - received text saying case was updated and to check website 
                                                                                                                                     09/9/19   - received USPS Informed Delivery that USCIS letter would arrive today & it was in the post. Rec'd email from USCIS requesting more info for expedite AP request. Faxed info back immediately. 
                                                                                                                     10/9/19   - rec'd approval for I131 renewal; 18/9-USCIS email "new card ordered"' 21/9 -"Card/Doc Production"; 23/9-2 ltrs in mail from USCIS, card mailed via USPS (text/email notifications for all)

                                                                                                                     17/10/19  - Interview in NYC

nope, there is a list on the USCIS site that says reasons you can expedite.  If you could pay I think we all would :)

Unfortunately no.  You can file for an expedite but their accepted reasons are strict and narrow.
