Police certificate from US

Hello Everyone,

 

I'm getting prepared for the interview.  Just got our NOA2 few days ago for the I-129f application and I am going back to my country for the interview. The thing is that I have been living in US (California) for the past year and half and I just found out about the police certificate. I will be able to get that easily from my home-country, but I am wondering about the police certificate from US, should it be from FBI or only from the state I have lived? 

In the website travel.state.gov says exactly this: Police certificates from your present country of residence and all countries where you have lived for six months or more since age 16 (Police certificates are also required for accompanying children age 16 or older)

 

Could anyone help me? I hope I am not duplicating any old post

No police cert is needed from the US. They will run their own background check.

5/1/2017: Case received by Manila (1 week embassy transfer??? Lucky~)

7/13/2017: Interview: APPROVED!!!

7/19/2017: Visa in hand

8/15/2017: POE
