Parents entered the US with immigrant visa (category IR) on Dec.4, 2017. The process was a breeze through and the officer told them the plastic green cards should arrive within a month. No where in any document nor from anybody that talked with them told them they need to pay any more fees. On their visa stamp, there's only a registration number so I couldn't help them check whether there's any fee due (the website asks for A number which they don't have).

Please help! Do we need to do anything at this point?

No, as we did not get any instructions or any notice asking for payment. How much is the fee and what is the name of the fee? Our visa stamps don't have A numbers on them (only Registration Numbers) so we have no way to check. The website asks for both the Case number and A number. Our status on the Department of State website showed the cases were transferred to National Visa Center a long time ago. Is there any other way to check whether we have any outstanding items before we can receive the actual cards?

You would think the consular or the officer at the port of entry should tell us if we have not done it all. Instead, the officer at POE just told us to wait for the card in mail and that we should be receiving it in a month.

I am literally freaking out...
