A lot of people getting visas no problem

It might takes longer if male, common male name, cultural difference, age difference, extensive travel, engineers, not a normal paki marriage .etc

Why would being an Engineer an issue?

Hy i too have applied spouse petition for my spouse Ir 1 from Pakistan and my son iR 2 catageory and my daughter F 1.

i have been visiting visa journey regularly and seeing about the bad image of u.s embassy islamabad.

i am also worried about any delays in visa at interview.

but i dont think in my case there should be any delays .

as we both are from Pakistan

same religion

same culture

marraige has passed 20 years so many proof to prove marraige.

No ex marraige for her or for me.

p.D is 10 oct 2017 texas service center

i am u.s citizen.

I apply once in 2001 for them but was denied due to not providing RFe on timr as i was ill that time and dont want them to here in u.s.

as i cannot support them financially at that time.

Any other thing that should effect these petitions any advice?

and be hopefull, these hard interogation is due to Pakistan on high visa fraud list.

but if you are all good no need to worry

I think as long as you don't have many red flags then you should be fine.  Perhaps we had too many coupled with my husband not updating his CNIC.  Although not required it caused a big deal with them.  Make sure all things are in order before you get there.

Well, how much is enough evidence? My husband and I are older, I have visited him 8 times, we have been together 7 years, we had 6.5 pounds of evidence. If they decide they don't want you to have a visa, they will invent issues and lies. Yes, we have red flags, but they can't be undone (divorces, age, religion) BUT what is ENOUGH EVIDENCE? Will I be 70 years old? 80 years old? Do I need 15 visits? 20? How much is enough? I could see if we were kids with no evidence or visits. You people that say it is easy have no idea what some people go through. Some of their tactics border on the illegal, if not truly illegal. Others on here totally understand what I am saying, but right now I will keep the details to myself as I don't want retaliation. God knows the truth!

I think most of the comments are addressed at regular relationships that the Consulate might normally see.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
