I have been in the US for five years and two years ago I had asked my mum back in my home country to get a birth certificate for me as my birth was not registered. She got the sworn affidavits in one city where I was born and sent them to my sister in the city where they should have had my birth registered. My damn brother in law sent the affidavits to me here in the US instead of going to get me registered. I had not looked at them closely cuz i was disgusted that i asked them to get me a birth certificate and I got affidavits. I am about to file my paperwork . I got married to a USC last month. i went through the affidavits and they clearly state they should have been taken to the other city for registration of my birth. They were done in 2004. I am sending in my package. Should I make copies and attach to the 130 and send the affidavits back home so my sister can register my birth and take the real birth certificate to the interview? Please help me.
