Your petition doesn't expire while it is being processed by the USCIS

YMMV

But what happens once it hits the 4 month mark?

Can it expire at all while its its going through all this process?

Im scared I’ll have it sent back or denied because of it being “expired” while in their hands.

I don't think they have even sent the I-129F form yet. From what I understand he worries about the form expiring? I am not sure. I think he needs to read the guides here on VJ.

No if you sent out the I-129F and say two months from now they have a new form yours will be ok because it was sent before the change.

BTW if you searched threads I believe this question has been answered before.

The 4 month clock doesn't begin until AFTER the petition is approved and has been sent to the embassy

YMMV

Okay, Thank you for your help.

What happens then? What if it is about to expire while in that stage?

I think damn near every combination of question has been asked before.

YMMV

Don't worry about it until you get to that stage.  Submit your petition first

YMMV

I did search, but they were a few years old and I wanted to absolutely make sure everything was okay.

USCIS ALWAYS has the most current version and is the only website you should go to for forms otherwise you may get an expired version

YMMV
