Part of the reply I got, forwarded to me from the congresswoman's office, goes like this. Somehow, I have a feeling the issue will never be resolved. 

 

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records confirm that your constituent’s I-130 petition was receipted on August 24, 2017, and is currently still pending adjudication.  I have notified our IT Department of the search error your constituent is experiencing with My Case Status Online. The issue should be resolved shortly.

Yes and the normal thing is that the number works, I started checking it 2 months from NOA1 and without results.

Today NOW is:  155 Days 10 Hours 01 Minutes  since my NOA 1, and yes, I have an online counter to know how long have been passed since NOA1, 5 months guys, half road in NSC.

I’m starting to think the same thing it just it should be some disclaimer saying it may not work that’s all I’m saying but thank you for answering me....... At least I have VJ to keep my nerves calm

It will, this will end too, this ong journey, NVC stage is big shorter and dynamic, you see and FEEL the progress, stage by stage!

I just write to NSC e mail asking for what´s going on with the case number, on Feb 24 is going to be 6 months and the case number isn´t working.

I will update you about the answer, when I receive it!

I filled to replace my green card back in May 2017 and the number doesn't work, I called them 4 times or more through out the months and all they tell me is wait, I called them again today and they are gonna give me a call back 3-5 business days. I'm really worried about that because the social security office doesn't accept my extension letter, I'm having huge problems because of this delay! It's crazy. Well, I'm thinking about now filing for my naturalization/citizenship here, for real! This is taking too long!

Hello all! I just got my NOA2 dated 12 February 2018. My NOA1 PD was 24 August 2017 at Potomac, and my receipt number never worked! Even when the hardcopy NOA2 came in the receipt number didn't work, but I just checked again and now it's updated to say it's been sent to NVC. My guess is that if the receipt number didn't work from the beginning, it will not work until someone gets the file and either sends an RFE or approval notice before they finally key it into the system. At least that seems to be how it worked for me!

Yes  it seems to be like is going to work when I get the approval or ,pray God to not this, a RFE!!!

I'm still pending of a response from NSC about my case number, but,as you say, I think that is not going to work until they reviewed the case and update it in their database. 

But still happy 4 your noa2

8th business day since I sended the Inquiry to USCIS and no response from them untill this date.

I am still on a reasonable date to receive an answer from them!

Let´s keep waiting and see what happens!

Oh, sorry, hi @annied our trending topic is August 2017 filers, in my case I received RFE on March 13 and answered them last Monday, they officially received it yesterday and changed my status to RFE response received!
