All those members whose case number does not work, whether they are from the processing center, please, introduce yourself here.

My own, P.D August 24, enrouted and placed in NSC, number doesn´t work not even case received, It shows Case Number not found!

I´ve tried with apps, my wife tried directly in the USCIS page and nothing, this is what shows.

Case # : LIN 179XXXXX66.

Any other VJ members that are having this same issue, please, let´s report it here and see when are starting to work.

Monday, March 19 2018 (Day 207) : USCIS RFE ´s answer was sent via post mail to NSC .

Thursday, March 22 2018 (Day 210) : Online Case Status changed to RFE´s answer was received .

Monday, April 2 2018 (Day 221) : ¡Approved! Online Case Status now shows Case was sent to Department of State.:dance::dancing:

Wednesday, April 4 2018 (Day 223) : Case Received.

Tuesday, June 5 2018 (Day 285): Case Number assigned, welcome letter received,invoice number received, DS261 filed.

Thursday, June 7 2018 (Day 287): AOS fee paid, waiting IV package fee to be unlocked to pay it.   

Thursday, June 14 2018 (Day 294): DS-261 checked and received letter, IV package fee now unlocked. 

Friday, June 15 2018 (Day 295) : IV fee paid, waiting DS-260 to be unlocked to fill it online. 

Monday, June 18 2018 (Day 298) : Full Package sent to NVC via post mail. 

Tuesday, June 19 2018 (Day 299): DS-260 unlocked to fill it online.

Hello all! I just got my NOA2 dated 12 February 2018. My NOA1 PD was 24 August 2017 at Potomac, and my receipt number never worked! Even when the hardcopy NOA2 came in the receipt number didn't work,

I did call, but they said I have to be transfered to a 2nd tier, but then they tell me that a 2nd tier employee is not available because of a high number of calls and I either have to wait 5 days for them to call me back, or call back at another time. As I live in Japan, I keep having to call back so they dont try to call me a midnight, but I have not been able to speak to a 2nd tier employee yet.

We figured we will not even try to call USCIS. My husband has contacted his congresswoman instead. Will update on what happens!

Well, this seems to be a common trouble that we´re having, now, my question is:

When is going to work that number?

If any of Case number of the VJ members listed above starts to work, please, keep us updated and will see what happens, because we depend of this number to see it online, and if isn´t working...:o

November 24th, 2017 - NOA1 (Received Hard Copy by Mail)

June 7th, 2018 - Online Case Update - Case Transferred and /New Office Has Jurisdiction

June 8th, 2018 - was told my petition is being sent to The National Benefits Center (NBC)

June 8th, 2018 - Online Case Update - we received your case

June 8th, 2018 - Online Case Update - Case Transferred and New Office Has Jurisdiction

June 14th, 2018- Hard Copy of Transfer Notice (sent 6/6/18)

July 9th, 2018- worked with caseworker at congressional office, made a inquiry

August 3rd, 2018 - caseworker was told by liaison that my case had been transferred to another department for review

August 17th, 2018 - expedite request sent per caseworker, due to USCIS error.

August 27th, 2018 - our petition was yet again sent to the wrong office (Adoption Unit...) another request for expedite was placed by caseworker.

August 30th, 2018 - petition was sent BACK to Nebraska Service Center.  Caseworker spoke with NSC liaison detailing the erroneous transfer that has put your case behind normal processing times, as well as the delays/lack of communication/action at NBC"

September 13th, 2018 - Case was transferred to a new office

September 14th, 2018 - Case transferred and new office has jurisdiction - called and they said it was at Nebraska still...

September 14th, 2018 - Case is APPROVED

September 17th, 2018 - Hard Copy NOA2 Received (PD SAYS 9/13/18)

September 26th, 2018 - Sent to the Department of State (online notification)

October 2nd, 2018 - NVC Received

October 26th, 2018 - Case # Received via email

November 7-9th, 2018 - Submitted DS260 and AOS, Civil Documents, etc. via CEAC

November 14th, 2018 - new police certificate was uploaded

November 27th, 2018 - Case Complete at NVC!

Feb 14, 2019 - Received interview date via email

March 5th, 2019 - scheduled interview date - APPROVED
March 9th, 2019 - Visa in Hand

Hi everyone, just checked today my case number just 4 fun, and, nothing yet, Case Number still not working, let´s wait another more month, but hey, is going to be one month closer to NOA2, that´s my hope.

The congresswoman's office said that the case is still pending from August and that they will check again in 30 days time. Not much help there, was it? It's been a good 5 months since the PD and there seems to be no urgency to move things along :(

We are separated just 10 days in our PD, but time stills running and there is no change in the case number, I´m not expecting NOA2 yet, I´m thinking that in the middle of the NOA1 to NOA2 journey, in NSC the August filers are in the theoretical half of the NOA1 to NOA2 journey!

Fingers crossed and let´s keep praying guys!

I just did a check a receipt number of a person who filed after me and it shows case was received and placed in NSC. What is going on?? I’m going to call in the morning because someone needs to explain this to me. I know I have long time before I get NOA2 but still I would like some sort of assurance.....😡😡😡😡😡
