Hi all,

My last case update was in February of last year, and it was that my fingerprint fee was received. I had my biometrics appointment about 1 month after that. I was expecting my green card sometime before the new year. I called USCIS a could weeks ago and the guy told me just to wait but that my estimated decision date was Dec 1st 2017.

My status also says my file is with the National Benefits Center. I can't find any information on the processing times for cases at the NBC.

Is this an indication that something has gone wrong... or could it be something mundane? I have no idea what could be holding up my application.

I’m in the same boat, since May 9 fingerprint fee received, got EAD/AP combo card, did biometrics June 1.  I’m in NYC, aos is from k1 from Philippines for my wife, and ours says NBC as well.  I’ve heard it can take longer but we may also get to skip the interview and they just mail us a green card, we’ll see

Citizenship process complete!  First a J1 work/travel Visa visitor from Philippines to Texas where we met each other, then back to Philippines.  Ultimately, immigrated here via a K1 Marriage-based petition in 2016, AOS started in 2017, completed in 2018, ROC started/completed in 2020, N-400/Citzenship granted in 2022 - timeline link below:

So sorry, you're waiting so long. As you can see, many of us can relate.

Our case has been pending since 11/2016 although we've already received our interview back in July 2017.

Hopefully with patience, you and all of us will see results. I'm actually trying to get an appointment to inquire in person on our status. Best of luck.
