Hello, I am worried about my sister and her going to Africa. She has already gotten a passport and she has only been conversating with this nut job online.  The strangest thing about all of this is that he
"randomly" found my sister on facebook. He is not a friend of a friend or anything. He appeared out of nowhere requesting to be friends. And my naive sister accepted his request. Now supposedly they are in love. He is muslim and know alot about this religion. My sister has 2 children from another man and is older than he is. This guy has never been married before. This just really pisses me off to no end. How do I find out if he is not affiliated with ISIS? Does anyone know how I can do research on this weirdo before my sister leaves the US to go visit this loser!!!? please respond asap I really need help on know what to do to put a stop to this.

Seems a very common scenario, the Consulate is your best hope assuming she wants to bring him to the US.

How old is your sister? Oh wait, she is already a mother so she can make her own decisions.

If he is affiliated with ISIS, immigrations will find out and he won't get a visa.

Stay calm and don't do anything foolish. Your sister is an adult and as such is free to make horrible decisions.

Wow, talk about profiling

1,8000,000,000 billion Muslims in this world..  only 100,000 associated with ISIS.  That is 0.005% of the Muslim population

He might be a Facebook troll or a visa hound but I doubt he is an ISIS member

YMMV

Oh thank you for your response. I am just very worried about her going to Algeria because I do not know what this family has instore for my sister. I have heard horrible stories of woman being seduced by Muslim men from other countries and the outcome is devasting. Some people commented previously regarding that I am racial profiling against Muslims but I know the religion and their beliefs. I am someone who is worried about my sister.  Do you know how I could try and protect her if she goes. I just found out yesterday that she is determined to go.  This guy knew he found someone vulnerable - my sister. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Perhaps offer to go with her?
