I-129f petition filling out help [merged threads]

I have a few questions that hopefully people can answer...

Once im finished filling out my k1 visa petition, where do I send it? I live in Michigan and sites are giving me different answers. So I’m not sure if I send it to the Place here or to the Texas lockbox.

Also, when I fill out the I-134 (affidavit of support), where do I send it? I read on the website that my fiancé needs it for his visa interview. So do I send mine and my joint sponsors in the mail to the place or to my fiancé before his visa appointment? Will I receive multiple letters in the mail with instructions and information?

Send your petition to the Texas lockbox location.  They will forward your petition on to the location that will process your petition, most likely California.

You will need to send the affidavit of support to your fiancé.  He will need it for the interview when you get to that point.  I don't recommend sending it until after you receive your NOA2 so that it will be more up to date.  You, as the petitioner, wont really receive anything in the mail other than the NOA1 and the NOA2.  Your fiancé will receive information in the mail (depending on the country) once you get to the medical/interview stage.

Good luck on your journey. :D

I believe Michigan goes to the Lewisville, Texas lock box.  From there they will take the check and send the petition to the California Service Center.

The I-134 will go later.  Your partner will take it to the interview in about 10 months!  You will send that info to your fiancé.

You will receive the NOA1 (Notice of Action 1) when they receive your package.  It will be assigned a tracking number (WAC1890XXXXXX).  That is used throughout the USCIS part of the process.

In about 10± months you will receive the USCIS approval.  That is your NOA2.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Hi friend, have you followed this very helpful guide?

http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide

1) Mail the I-129F Package to the USCIS

You should mail the completed form(s) to the USCIS Dallas Lockbox. Mail the package with return receipt requested / delivery confirmation. Send via USPS.

2)

What to send to your fiance once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2):

1. A copy of the entire I-129f package (that you made when you sent the petition in) and a copy of information that you sent back due to an RFE (if you received one). Your fiance should review this information in advance of the interview (the embassy will have copies of this as well).
2. Send copies of the documentary proof that you submitted with the I-129F for your fiance to have on hand for their interview at the embassy. Your fiance should review this information in advance of the interview (the embassy will have copies of this as well).
3. Send an original letter affirming your desire to marry your fiance and your continued support of the K-1 Visa. Sign and date the form. This will be similar to the letter you provided with the I-129F, but dated much closer to the interview (it will have most likely been several months since you submitted your I-129F).
4. I-134 Affidavit of Support form. Ensure it is signed, with all required supporting evidence. Begin collecting the required information ahead of time, as it can often take several weeks to collect it all.

USCIS Website is where you get the answer to the mailing address.  That is the only official site.  TEXAS

I-134 is submitted to the embassy at time of interview, if required

YMMV

I am in the US and sponsoring my fiancé from Canada to get here on the k1 visa

I am on SSD and SSI and just won my case a few months ago and just started receiving payments in December 2017. I just turned 21, so I have no work experience previously because I am disabled. I do have a co sponsor, so no worry about that.

What I need help with is how should I fill out the employment section on the I-129f petition and how would I fill out the I-134 form?

I prefer people whose petition has been approved for accurate information please.

While filing out for i-129f, if something does not apply to me or cannot be answered, do I leave it blank or put N/A?

In the instructions on the site, it says put N/A for things that do not apply, but I want to be sure.

Also, my beneficiary has info on his mom, but not his dad, is it okay to put N/A if we do not have much info on his dad?

My fiance also couldnt remember one address address that he use to live at in the past 5 years (moved almost every year) but we did put down 4 past address. Do you think this will be enough? Are they SUPER strict on the form? I’m super stressed about it being deny.

Info on the dad , N/A is not the correct answer.  UNKNOWN

YMMV

If you are not employed and have never been employed you should put "N/A" and when you send the case you can write a cover letter explaining your situation and attach copies of documents from SSA that verify the fact that you are on SSD and SSI.

We put N/A in all of the blank spaces.  Not sure if this is the correct answer as there seems to be numerous opinions on this but it worked for us.

No problem that there isn't much info on the father but I agree with the person above.  Put "Unknown" instead of N/A.

I'm not sure about the address thing. Someone else may have some insight on this. :)

I will be sending my I-129f petition out soon.

But was wondering about the “passport” style photographs for my fiancé and I.

Would I get these done at the same place I would get my license (DMV) or maybe DHS?

And do I have to have a passport to get these done? My fiancé has a passport but I don’t do not. How do we go about getting these “passport” style photographs?

Under evidence requirements of the I-129f petition, it says something about the beneficiary having a I-94 form. We are confused about what this is...

He has only ever visited me here once for a little over 2 weeks and that was it. Do we have to provide the I-94 form? Does it pertain to him?

The question asks....  Is your beneficiary CURRENTLY in the USA.  If yes it applies to you.  If no, then it does not

YMMV

Who is the USC? In the US you can go to any basic store like Walgreens/CVS/or photograph place and get standard passport photos.

And yes both persons need to supply the requested amount of passport photos for the I-129f petition.

Go to Walgreens and have them take them. You don't need to explain yourself as to why you want passport photos, it's not their business. Also, when we went and got ours done I was forced to change shirts to one that covered my shoulders. Different for each Walgreens I imagine but just a heads up.
