I'm not scheduled yet, I'm a bit ahead of my game 😁 trying to find a way to distract myself in this waiting, so I can organize the next month and all documents.

Anyone what this is and how to get it for the interview?

"Bring two copies of the printed confirmation of address registration to the visa interview"

Expand

Confirmation page from DS-160 which you print after submitting the form online.

This is the only reference for "confirmation page" I am aware.

Hey Guys

My NOA2 was approved from January 9th 2018 and to date our file hasn't been forwarded to the NVC. I have called both the NVC and the USCIS and sent the copy of the approval notice to the NVC via email who responded that they have no record or receiving the file.

The USCIS when I call and escalated to tier 1 am told that the file is still been processed for "clerical issues" and that there is no specific time for the file to be processed. I'm given the impression that I shouldn't call back and I need to wait until it's ready - whenever that is.

The wait and the anxiety is almost unbearable - is this usual? We are waiting 8 weeks

Just to confirm, the police certificate is easy as it seems? Just go online for both of them and ready in 2 seconds? Thanks!

It took ours 22 days to reach NVC.

You are at 8 weeks and I would feel exactly the same.

I would call USCIS ....CSC.....every day.

I would hawk them relentlessly.

Squeaky wheel......

No, it's not normal.....but, I have seen cases listed on the tracking spreadsheet that have gone very long.

Try to get to tier II....and escalate the conversation.

You have NOA2 in your hand.....keep calling until you have an answer.

First call every day to NVC to see if they received.....then next call to CSC.

Every day.....

You will feel better being pro-active.

Push both sides....

Let them see you calling every day!

When we waited.....I called every day.....

Every damn day.

Good luck.

"Medical exam for applicant as attached, medical examination report should be submitted on the day of the visa interview. Applicants are advised to schedule their medical examination 3weeks prior to the date of their visa interview"

Above was the one of the items the embassy had requested of us to send to their office. Nothing to send her ahead of the interview, right? Only the medical exam results when you go for your interview.....am I right on this?

Also, the police certificate we send to the office needs to be the original (non-translated)?

Yes, we didn’t have to send anything ahead of the interview. We will bring the medical results and police certificates on the day of the interview.

Also, check out the embassy website. It has a list of other things (birth certificate, Letter if intent to marry, etc.) they’ll need that weren’t listed on our email from the embassy.
