We finished all 3 exams today....blood and urine in the morning....xray in afternoon.

We were scheduled for Medical exam Friday night at 19:30, but doc emailed this afternoon and pushed appointment to Monday afternoon because xray will not be ready....we have the embassy interview on Tuesday morning.

Traveling to appointments in Rio.....

Our morning travel between 10am and Noon.....the city is slow with many cars and lights....allow extra time.....consulate to doctor in Leblon about 45 min.

We also traveled same route at 2pm with no traffic and about 15min travel time.

We have a contact for a personal driver recommended to us that has been wonderful with very reasonable rates and drove us and waited at each appointment...I will post contact info once we are complete with his services on Tuesday....(I don't want him to be overwhelmed with service calls which could effect our schedule.....lol)

Taxis are expensive....you really need a trustworthy Uber/private driver.

So far, Rio has been a good experience....really all due to being personally driven to all these exams....

Otherwise, Rio is large, crowded and confusing to negotiate the roadways and congestion.

Hi everyone. I need some help. My fiancé filled the petition I-129F on May 2017 and we got NOA2 on January 2018, and when he filled the form I was still living in the U.S., but after receive we receive our approval I came to my home country (Brazil) for prepare myself to the interview and it will be next tuesday (03/06/2018). I am not sure what should I do because when my fiancé filled the form he put my address in the U.S, but now when I filled the form DS-160 I put my new address in Brazil (my mom's house). Should I tell them (the embassy or USCIS) I have changed the address? If yes, how should I do that? I didn't even think about that while I was filling the form DS-160 because it is a temporary changing.

I think because your change occurred after the NOA2 approval....you should fill out the DS-160 using your address in Brazil.

Brazil does not send any packets in the mail.....

Any questions regarding the address change, if any, you can clarify in the interview.

I assume your entry, time spent and exit from USA are all consistent with your present VISA (tourist, work, school, etc)

Hopefully others can clarify better.

My fiance did his medical exam today, here's how he told me it went:

His appointment was at 11am, but he got there late (11:20am), but it was okay. He said she even called him to see what happened, ahaha. But by that time he was already there. He said she asked for his pictures and vaccinations only, and that she didn't look at his passport and e-mail, because he already had the numbers on the form.

Next, the doctor checked his height and weight, asking him a lot of things, such as if he had surgery, he if smoked, takes medications, and had tuberculosis. He took my fiance's blood pressure listened to his heart and lungs, sealed and gave him an envelope which he will take to the interview (in 4 days!!). He also gave him another envelope (he said 'case' but I'm assuming it's an envelope) with a CD in it and papers with his vaccinations and exam results, which the doctor said he would need for the AOS

So, that's how his experience went. I don't know why I thought it would be more, it was basically like a physical. He estimates that overall, it took 20 minutes. On to the interview on Tuesday!!

We just finished with Ana's med exam....we were last party of the day.

We spent more time chatting in the waiting room with another beneficiary.....the the exam.  I think Ana was in with the doctor for 5 min.

Walked out with the embassy envelope and a white folder with exam results, chest xrays, vaccine history and CD disk.

Yep....real easy after running around to the other 3 exams.

If you are not from Rio....you really need a driver.....it made all the difference for us....
