There is a group with people that also received their NOA2 in February, just so you have the support of people that got approved in the same month as you. But of course we can help you here!

 

Affidavit...you mean the I-134 affidavit of support? If you are the petitioner, start gathering the documents and send the documents and form to your fiance(e), if you're the beneficiary, tell your fiance(e) that they need to start filling that out and gathering the documents to send to you.

Feb 12th NOA2 date here. No email still about the NVC receiving it or anything. Not really sure what to do at this point

I just got an email from the NVC, but I'm not sure if this is the one that I need to book the medical, fingerprints and interview, can someone that has had received the email send me a private message, please?

The NVC won't send you an e-mail when they've received your case. You have to call them; I'd say 2 weeks after your NOA2 date is a good guideline.

You really need to check with someone from the same country (using the same US embassy), because each embassy has different rules about the medical and interview.

I've been in Brasil for a week and we leave for Rio in the morning by bus.

Exams begin on Thursday and  medical on Friday.  Interview is Tuesday.

 

It hasn't stopped raining in Brasil and won't for the next 7 days.  Rio will be hot, humid and wet.

 

Be aware of what is going on in Rio now with the military securing the favelas.

How you travel within Rio should be a concern....especially at night.

Hi ,NOA1 was June 08,2017, NOA2 approval Jan11,2018 and interview at embassy visa approved Feb24th2018 almost 9 month it took for us .

How you scheduled the exams? You called the labs, set a date and told the secretary the send them an authorization? 

 

It's a beautiful day in Rio, sunny sky! And trust me, through the news is way worse than reality, just be aware and you'll be fine 😉

Check The received number that NVC gave you here  https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx  and if it says ready you can Shedule your appointment for the VAC and for the Interview after you have filled out the ds-160 Form

I got an email from nvc confirming they got my case, I'm trying to submit the visa application form but I don't have an invoice number. Do you know how I can get one?

You do not need an invoice number for K-1 visas.
