Hi! There is no Feb NOA2 thread, which is why all of us that have a Feb NOA2 have been asking here. I am certainly not the first.

Also, I am on the spreadsheet, it is in my signature.

 

Third, there have been lots of people who have gotten their NVC case numbers under 1-5 weeks after their NOA2. I appreciate you wanting to help guide me in the right direction, but I know where I'm supposed to be.

Day 26 after NOA-2 and still waiting( When we just got NOA-2 process in NVC went so fast. And I really thought that we got case number fast too. But no news here😭 Today on my Russian speakers forum read about one couple who moved from NVC Recieved to VOH for 15 days!

After waiting NOA-2 this 26 days is not a big deal...but at the same time it's like an eternity😔

I waited 22 days to go from NOA2 to NVC received + 9 days to get a case number.

On February 9 NVC Received our case but it's been 10 days after that and nothing. I wouldn't worry...but so many people who get their case number so fast even goes from NVC received to NVC ready for one day. Just wondering and can't wait when we will receive case number.

Woo hoo! The doctor's office e-mailed my fiance back and sent him the forms necessary to book his appointments. Now all he has to do is fill them out and send them back. One step closer...

Hey all - another question ..

 

How do I know the exact date I was assigned my NVC # without calling them and asking lol.  the CEAC status website just says "At NVC"  and the rep never gave me the date my case was assigned a number.. she just gave me the number... because I was so sleep deprived from being up all night with my sister in labor, I didn't think to ask  as I was so satisfied with just getting a number!    I can call if I need to , to get this date, but I wanted to try to avoid that... also, I still haven't received anything by mail OR email saying that my case is a) sent to NVC / b) arrived at NVC  c) assigned a number.... is this normal?   I only have info from calling....   <3

@Lisa & Jorge  It's normal that you haven't received an email, we didn't receive one till our case status changed to in transit. It's just an email stating that your case has been sent to the embassy and have the beneficiary fill out the ds 160.

haha, yes...not receiving anything is normal.

you really dont need the date the case number was assigned.

 

just watch status to change to In Transit - took mine 10 days to move out of NVC...once it goes IN TRANSIT - you can begin the DS160 and schedules... you may even be able to do DS160 now and save.

if you live in Rio, I guess its wont be hard to negotiate these appointments.

 

We are passing around this doctor exam appointment date, waiting for them to accept, and then to followup with the xray appointment.

We are tying to figure out our logistics for Rio - maybe making 2 trips....being that this process will span a weekend.

Go in for medical, then back in for interview.

Not really wanting to spend 6 days in Rio....

In some small way...it's a rather annoying process to negotiate....

One doctor, one city - 4 day processing protocol.....

enough already....tired of jumping through hoops.

I'm leaving Friday for Brasil...I'm grateful things have timed such that I can make this Rio interview during

the trip which was planned in December - we got real lucky.

But, we're both tired...this Rio interview hopefully is the last hurdle to negotiate.
