Took mine 16 days.

Thank you! I have been trying to gauge similar cases on the spreadsheet but it's hard to do so on mobile!

Be patient, it took from my NOA2 (27th Jan) to today to be ready at the embassy... It's really not long to wait just 20 days. Nothing compared to what we've had to wait. If you have your police certificate as soon as you get your case number you can book your medical 😁

He ordered it last night, so hopefully by the time he gets back to the UK (next Sunday) it should be waiting for him.

He's hoping it gets drawn out long enough that he doesn't have to get the flu jab. -_-

Also book at the gp for your vaccinations. When I spoke to the medical place I said I didn't have a record of mine. I had my baby ones and ones at the gp but none in between. I know I didn't have a MMR. She said all I need for my age (34) is the MMR, tetanus and flu shot (if you haven't had flu shot I think they still do them until the 31st March pay £13 in boots and get a record of it gp might not do it.

LOL it's okay. I am just as involved with what he's doing. I had to remind him to get a tetanus jab.

So he's got his little baby book that his mom filled out; it's got all sorts of records. He's requested the police certificates. Now he's just trying to get rid of his furniture and get a better idea of when everything will happen. I've put in a few requests for elastoplasts (seriously, American bandages do not have the same sticking power), Sanex and that nice organic mint bodywash that I got at Tesco (it runs out quickly).

It's so weird that it's HIS part of the process, now. It's all out of my hands once I pass along that petition of support.

Aww it's nice that you're involved my OH is like the I-134 is in the post my job is done 😂😂

Well I got confused and thought I needed all of them lol. Need to question the varicella one though because on the record I printed off it says we need it but I've already had chicken pox 🤔🤔 and they only give it to babies.

I think that the doc will take your word for it if you tell them you've had it. Andy plans to just point at some scars and thinks it'll be sufficient... >_>

Haha yeah that could work. I think they will test my blood for it but I don't know.

Don't mean to burst your bubble, but they send that expedited email to all Canada filers.  It just means that Canada is accepting data electronically (fairly new).  That being said, it won't be long now, just keep checking the CEAC status and when it says 'ready', they have received it.

Bahwhaha it’s all good, thanks for letting me know 😂😂😂

Wait for the status to change to 'ready'.  Then submit DS160 (you don't have to, you can wait for this step and do it with p3, I think).  If you don't have your police report(s), get em.  Get your immunizations updated (or you can wait for your medical).

They will send an email with a link to packet 3 and that's when you can submit p3.  You can go to the consulate website to see p3 (here's a link to the .pdf: https://ca.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/27/2016/07/Packet3Instructions-K1.pdf  and start gathering the appropriate documents.  Several Canadian filers (us included) submitted p3 prior to receiving the email (because our CEAC status said 'ready', but the consulate just ignored it and we had to resubmit).

Then they send you packet 4 and you can pay your fees now or at interview, schedule the interview, and then schedule medical.

Fellow Canadians, if I gave any false or misleading info, please correct me.
