i am currently waiting for the embassy to send me an email i.e packet 3 and the link to schedule the interview. I've emailed them and they replied that i should wait for them to process and send the next intructions. Does any one know how much time it takes,? im tired of waiting and changing dates that ive planned.

We mailed our packet and it was confirmed as delivered this morning. I might have to wait until next week to hear back. I feel your pain with work. I am counting down days and worrying about my boss raging when I resign. I have no choice though so it is what it is.

LET THE STORM RAGE ON!! I can't wait to stick it to mine, she has taken so much advantage of me! Her team is gonna have to pick up a big load after I leave, and I can't wait!! I feel so evil about wanting to shove it in her face, but evil in a laughing way if that makes any sense, think Cruella Deville muahaha

We submitted our DS-160 :)

I'm not even actually sure how we were able to given that our case is not at the embassy yet.

I might have jumped the gun.

With Brazil, that's the one single thing you can do before your case gets to the Embassy lol. Anything else, you have to wait, sadly.

LMAO!!! Manager's often don't appreciate what they have until the person leaves. I hope you find a better job in the states where you are appreciated.  Would you believe that my fiance got his interview date today? Auckland embassy is lightning fast. It is scheduled for March 13 but we had to request an earlier date. Hopefully we hear back Monday.

I hope we both the best jobs there ever was with awesome people. Yay!!! Congratulations on getting a date eeek it's so exciting isn't it. Auckland is so onto it! As long as you do your medical 2 weeks prior to your appointment so there is enough time to process it asking for a earlier date should be all good! I think they take 8 days to get it to the consulate, otherwise you may go into AP, and im frustrated for Tim and Anna having had to wait for a officer to get to their case, they had their interview 2 days before their medical was delivered and it's not been touched since. I hope they get their approval like yesterday, can't imagine the frustration they are feeling right now.

How long does it usually take from the time they assign a case # till they send it to the embassy?

Mine only took 3 days, then I received an email that the case had been sent to the embassy.
