I didn't :D I called Friday night and poor Amin had to tell me that it could take six weeks for them to get my case from USCIS. I'll call again on Monday...then Tuesday...then Wednesday... lol

They told me the same thing the 3 times I called.. we got our NOA2 hard copy Feb. 2 and we had our case # by Feb. 8. Start calling after you have your hard copy (unless you already have it). You’ll know once your case is received because instead of asking when your NOA2 was, they’ll ask for the beneficiary’s name and bday and then the usc petitioners name and bday!

Hey everyone,

Does anyone know what vaccines are needed or where I can find a list? Since we have some time while waiting for our NVC# , we wanted to get ahead and make sure we have them all before the medical interview.

Thanks!

Most places include vaccines in with the medical so may want to check and see so don't waste time and money on it.  We were worried too because her vaccination records were lost.  So try not to stress till find information on it.

@Jaquelly I'd wait at least 10 days. If your case is being entered electronicly it will take awhile, they received ours on January 31st and we are still waiting for a case number. They told me we'd be notified by our contact information when our case is sent to the embassy.

I have read that you often receive the letter about NVC after it has already arrived. :)

hey everyone!! Just a heads up for anyone about to book a medical appointment at Knightsbridge - I received my LND case number last Thursday and my case is now in transit to London. I phoned Knightsbridge to book a medical appointment and she asked for my case number then she asked if I had a police certificate. I said that I didn't have a police certificate yet but I was applying for it today and she said that she couldn't book me a medical appointment without a police certificate...so it looks like I won't be able to book my medical for another 10 days or so :(

NVC received ours on Jan26th and still no case number. 🙄Last time Marc called they told him it´s because USCIS sent tons of cases lately...

Well they were sleeping on noa2s (oh how much uscis lied about this was how they do😒) I almost feel sad for NVC.... they were also played by uscis logic...

Am doing good. Am so glad you got your NOA2. I know it was slow going for you. Am also waiting for NVC. Got my NOA2 January 22.

As far as this ice, am ready for Spring 😁😁

Awesome! your Case should arrive at NVC any day now if it hasn't already. today is my 2 weeks at NVC and they SAY I should have a number by today.... but they also are denying that people are getting theirs the same day its received when this forum clearly states otherwise.. so idk. I'm hopeful though. we are ready for the next step!  yea I'm ready for spring too!!!!!   :-)   it will be nice that our fiances will arrive in nicer weather so they have some time to adjust to the climate transition!! lol

I feel so bad for my Romanian fiance...

The climate transition is going to be like, winter/snow/freezing (Romania) --> SUMMER/HEAT/HUMIDITY/POLLEN (Atlanta)

He keeps asking if we have A/C in the house, and it's like YES, we have to have A/C or we'd all die :P

Email from NVC to me and beneficiary:

he National Visa Center (NVC) received your fiance(e)'s approved I-129F petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). NVC will forward the petition to the U.S. Embassy in RIO DE JANEIRO, BRZL. The U.S. Embassy will contact your fiance(e) when they are ready to schedule a visa interview.

In the meantime, please have your fiance(e) and his or her children visit http://ceac.state.gov and complete Form DS-160, the online nonimmigrant visa application that is used for a K visa.
