Change of Address after filling I-751

Yes. You are still her sponsor, and as her sponsor, you have to notify USCIS of your address change. Her removing the conditions on her permanent residency doesn't stop you being her sponsor. You will continue to be her sponsor until she:

1. Becomes a citizen or
2. Works 40 quarters (10 years) as an LPR or
3. Dies

Besides, the two of you might still be called for an interview and asked about why you have 2 different addresses.

 

...honestly, though, what's the big deal? It's a fast form to fill in, pop a stamp on it and send it in - you could have done it by now....

Hey guys, how about before submitting I-751, is it sufficient to inform USCIS via online? (AR-11)

You’ll file both.

The immigrant files AR-11 (online or by mail) within 10 days after moving.

The spouse (sponsor) files I-865 (by mail only) within 30 days after moving. 

 

Those are are the legal requirements.

I did mine in October right after we moved (AR-11), but my husband (USC) did not. Can we submit the I-865 separately from our ROC package right now? Its definitely more than 30 days.

Hi, sorry why both? I just did online address change and it says specifically that after doing such step, you DO NOT need to send a paper version to USICS. 

Got email confirmation already 

So I need to mail it to them regardless?

Yes, unfortunately you do, its a different form altogether and not very well advertised. I have heard so many people over look this and once I pointed it out to someone (as it was to me when I moved}  Any way to clarify what i had advised them they rang up USCIS and asked whether they needed to do it, at first the officer said no, but then came back and said yes you need to do that also. It's confusing even for the USCIS officers.

One form for each person. You don’t need to send another version of AR-11. Your spouse has to send in an entirely different form because they are your sponsor.

Absolutely spot on and rightly said. How would you come to this country without a sponsor? It is an integral component of getting residency through marriage in the U.S. USCIS has clarified the address change forms in a layman language.

I just sent out my husband's I-865 form to Texas Service Center.

Did a certified mail/Recipient Receipt request with the flat rate hard paper envelope, via Express Priority its a flat rate totaled $11.25 (I did not fold the papers, placed them in full paper sized USPS envelope)

when you sent it? and what did you include with the form?? any explanation??
