As a middle of the road libertarian I tend to agree, although not sure about legalizing hard core very adictive drugs

That's where I kind of fall.

I do think there is a place for making certain things illegal. Marijuana doesn't really fit in that place for me, but I wouldn't advocate for making heroin legal. The fact that marijuana remains a schedule 1 drug is both hilarious and sad at the same time.

I thought the Civil War pretty much answered that question.  Regardless, does this really change anything?

I believe weed should be legal, and provided it's not smoked like tobacco, it doesn't really have that many down sides. Decriminalize hard drugs and spend the money saved on drug addiction treatment.

I wonder, what is the most prevelant method that people use to intake marijuana?  I assume smoking it, but with all the now legal avenues available in many states, this assumption could be wrong.

Actually its the not paying tax on it part that is illegal

No you need Federal and State license to distill along with a way to prove the product stays in bond ( so the feds can get their taxes) .  Many states have made it difficult to micro distill by Wa and Oregon are catching on to the windfall.

No not really. More a case of the system failing to keep up with mainstream American opinion, where the majority support legalising weed.

Incorrect sir.  It is a federal offense to distill alcohol without a permit.  You can distill and pay taxes, and you are still violating federal law.

By obtaining the permit, you are then allowed to distill (either for fuel or for consumption, but different permits), but you also open yourself to search of your property and possessions 24/7.  And of course, you have to pay the tax for alcohol consumed.

I am a main streamer, unlike many here at chest, who claim to be middle of the road, but are in my opinion only in the center of their own ditch.

There are not many here that claim that.

My middle of the road thing and the loyal fan club it still attracts.
