Hey all, my story is bit more complicated than any other, i came from Turkey with j1 visa (work and travel) before my visa expired i got married with us citizen, i prepared every application for work permit, green card .. But after we got married she told me she back her former boy friend, right now my visa expired and i dont know what to do, any advice?

I'm sorry to hear about the marriage situation.

 

That said, I'm not sure what exactly you're looking for here. Get marriage counseling if you can...? Immigration-wise, there's nothing to do here if she doesn't want to continue the process. If AOS was already filed but not approved yet, then she can withdraw the I-864 at any time and stop the process. If it wasn't filed, then there's nothing she needs to do. If AOS was already approved then you're an LPR and don't need her for anything with immigration (just need to do a divorce waiver for ROC).

 

If your legal status / authorized stay has expired and she does not want to continue the immigration process, then the best thing is to leave the US. The later this happens, the longer the bans become.

9/5/18: Interview scheduled notice, 10/17/18: Interview

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received

5/1/2017: Case received by Manila (1 week embassy transfer??? Lucky~)

7/13/2017: Interview: APPROVED!!!

7/19/2017: Visa in hand

8/15/2017: POE
