Just checked our case status online, and our i129f was... Approved!!!! :dance:

2007-02-07 -- I130 Sent to Nabraska Service Center

2007-02-15 -- NOA1 for I130 from California Service Center.

2007-02-22 -- I129F filed with Chicago USCIS office.

2007-03-02 -- NOA1 for 129F from MSC.

2007-03-27 -- Touched -- I129F transfered to CSC.

2007-03-28 -- I129F Touched !!

2007-05-17 -- I 130 and I 129F touched!!!! God please get me a approval without a RFE. You can do it please!!!

2007-05-18 -- I-130 and I-129F approved!!!! Dear God, thank you very much. You are the greatest!!

2007-05-22 -- I-130 and I-129F approval notice recieved in mail

2007-05-29 -- Case received at NVC and case number assigned.

2007-05-31 -- Case left NVC to chennai consulate

Got three touches last week. Nothing this week though.

I got a couple touches recently but I don't think they mean much since it was just my I-129F finally being received at CSC.

Wife's visa journey:

03/19/07: Initial mailing of I-129F.

07/07/11: U.S. Citizenship approved and Oath Ceremony!

MIL's visa journey:

07/26/11: Initial mailing of I-130.

05/22/12: Interview passed!

no joke!!! I would think that they really only have to get so far as the baby pictures, and the smpling of photos with various haircuts to see thats its a real relationship :( I guess they have to run a full background check, though.

7-20 informed that she has cleared medical. Documents not yet forwarded to Embassy, they will not release them to her, saying they must deliver the documents themselves. (Not true. many people had their medical papers @ the interview)

7-21 Missed flight

7-25 Docs recieved by embassy, visa all ready to go

7-27 Visa revieved

7-28 ARRIVED IN USA!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

9-28 5 page RFE sent :(

Yes, I would like to know the same thing! Just when I was about to lose my faith over this, I received 2 touches. Now I'm starting to think that maybe they don't mean anything! :(

Come on CSC...give everyone their approvals already!! :angry:
