SO i posted earlier about how we filed on April 18th in Madrid. We were waiting for my (US citizen) background check to clear (7-10 days). Being the pest that I am, I called the embassy this Tuesday, April 24th, and she said they had already mailed my husband his interview date for May 23rd! Woohoo. SO i guess the background check due to the Adam Walsh law is quicker than we thought. And the interview was actually for 830 am, but I requested a little later so he would be able to collect the medical results and not have to stay 2 nights in Madrid. Madrid ROCKS!

Married 3/31/07

DH arrived in USA to live with me for good! 6/3/07
